K9 COMMANMENTS Dog Training School has mutilple dog training packages to choose from Basic Obedience, Advance Obedience, In Home Training, Board and Train Programs and Specialized Training Services which offer Weekly Board and Train, Aggression Problems, Protection Training, Obedience Training and More.
Evaluation
Before we take on a dog for training, we do an evaluation at your home to assess what program would be best suited for you and your pet. The evaluation takes approximately 30 minutes and at that time we will give you a fixed cost, let you know what your involvement will be, as well as ours. Since we are a personalized service we will fit you into our schedules at your convenience.
IN-HOME TRAINING
This in home dog training program will help you quickly get positive results while educating you on how to effectively maintain this obedience without having to become frustrated at your dog. Housebreaking, barking, jumping, running away, pulling on the leash and create training are just a few of the many problems that can be addressed with in-home training. Clients are encouraged to request free consultation and demonstration in your home.
Obedience
Dogs crave obedience. They know what is expected of them and in learning what is expected of them they are mentally stimulated. Obediences creates a happy dog and owner. Obediences is built from six basic commands; Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, and Wait. Building these key commands along with Repetition, Consistency and Love will create a bond like no other between you and your dog.
All dogs need obedience; it builds their confidence. Obedience is a MUST for nervous or aggressive dogs. Obedience gives the owner and the dog the confidence to face the world together as a team.
We teach our obedience programs in two different ways:
At Your Place:
We bring our experience to you for private lessons. This method can take longer to complete all six commands. I recommend private lessons for one or two issues. Private lessons prices are best bought in a package.
At Our Place:
We get your dog for 14 days of hard work and playtime too. We do the training for you, then show you how it works. This training method is faster and more effective. You save time and effort, and your dog is trained by a professional at all times.
Behavioral Issues!
Dog aggression is a normal behavior and is usually based on fear. But when aggressive behavior starts to interfere with the relationship between the dog and the owner, other people, or other animals then it becomes problem that has to be addressed. Often when this happens the initial issues were overlooked as cute or simply ignored. Most dogs with behavior problems escalate their behaviors because they were not corrected or the behavior was addressed incorrectly.
There could be many underlying issues causing your dog’s aggressive/reactive behavior. Under-socialization when your dog was very young, or possibly a traumatic event could cause such behavior. Unfortunately in most cases aggression escalates as the dog ages. While it may be natural to make excuses for your dog’s behavior, all dogs are capable of causing serious harm. All dogs need obedience because it builds their confidence. Obedience is a MUST for nervous or aggressive dogs. Obedience gives the owner and the dog confidence to face the world together. The sooner you get help for your dogs aggression the quicker your dog can start to live a happy, healthy, more harmonious life with you and the rest of the world.
We will start out by addressing the problem correctly with a private one on one evaluation. Truly aggressive dogs are only managed never cured. We will discuss management strategies while we are working with you and your dog so everyone is safe and your dog is not practicing his or her aggressive behavior. I have trained many aggressive dogs with dog-to-dog aggression, dog to human aggression, food aggression and many other not so nice behavioral issues. I am confident that I can help your dog see the world in a much better way through training.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
Such as excessive nuissance barking,jumping up on people, digging, aggression issues, bolting and much more.
BASIC ON LEASH OBEDIENCE
Our Specialists begin your dog training with Basic Obedience; simple commands such as sit,down,stay,come, & heel. We encourage positive reinforcement and praise to develop a stronger bond between you and your dog.
ADVANCED OFF LEASH OBEDIENCE
This class takes you and your dog to another level, a level where you can be completely confident. Our specialists takes u beyond sit, down, stay, come, heel, sit-stay, down-stay, & place. Both basic and advance obedience include the automatic sit. Advance obedience includes distance work with hand signals,motion exercises & control around distractions.
Protection Training
Any dog can be trained for obedience, but to be trained for protection or AOC, they must have the right temperament; we can determine your dog’s temperament by a simple test here at K9 COMMANDMENTS!
Family Protection Dogs
Family protection dogs trained by K9 COMMANDMENTS Dog Training School, will protect your family from any threat be it inside or outside of the house. Your dog will still be the loveable family pet that is sociable and safe to have in and around your home. As with all of our protection training, an initial assessment is required to determine if the dog has suitable qualities to participate in this training.
Protection Training
Most of our clients are everyday people wanting a higher level of personal security. They want to know that they have a reliable protector. By having a well-trained protection dog in your home, you can sleep in peace knowing there is someone on guard 24/7.
If you want a dog in a personal protection or a security role, it will always prove to be a valuable asset. First, we will assess your dog’s suitability for Protection Training, and then we train your dog using confidence, not fear as a basis for this exercise.

Private Lessons for All Protection Training
Private lessons for you and your dog are available by appointment only. Your dog and your ability will be assessed before training takes place. Once you understand what is involved in protection training, we can then decide which level is suitable for your dog.
In order for a dog to be trained in protection by K9 COMMANDMENTS Dog Training School, the dog must:

Be obedience trained. (If we didn't obedience train your dog, we will have to evaluate your dog readiness).

SENTRY DOG
The sentry dog is any medium to large breed dog. A sentry dog protects property.
A sentry dog is ideal for commercial purposes, they are not recommended for private persons.
The sentry dog will ATTACK anyone other then his/her handler. These dogs are dangerous, and should not be owned by private persons.
